About MOJ

The Malaysian Orthopaedic Journal is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original papers and case reports. The first issue was established in 1997, and currently it is publishing three issue a year in both printed and electronic version. MOJ adopts Gold Open Access policy where readers are allowed to use, share, or built upon a work that has been published as long as contributors are properly acknowledged or attributed (CC BY 4.0).

The main objective of MOJ is to disseminate new knowledge and provide updates in Orthopaedics, trauma and musculoskeletal research. The journal also provides a platform for authors to share clinical experience, scientific knowledge and innovative ideas in the management of musculoskeletal conditions. MOJ publishes review articles, original papers, case reports, letters to the editor and special articles. All the scientific articles are coded with digital object identifier number (DOI).

The Malaysian Orthopaedic Journal (MOJ) is the official publication of Malaysian Orthopaedic Association (MOA) and ASEAN Orthopaedic Association (AOA). It is a peer- reviewed journal that publishes. The journal is currently indexed in MyAis, MyCite, ACI, WPRIM, PubMed, Pubmed Central, APAMED Central, Embase, DOAJ, SCOPUS, and ESCI. Our editorial board are active members of organizations including COPE, WAME, APAME, and CSE.

About Us

The Malaysian Orthopaedic Journal is a peer-reviewed journal that is published three times a year in both print and electronic online version. The purpose of this journal is to publish original research studies, evaluation of current practices and case reports in various subspecialties of orthopaedics and traumatology, as well as associated fields like basic science, biomedical engineering, rehabilitation medicine and nursing.
